About InvestVerdict Mutual Funds
Clarity before you invest. We turn AMFI's raw daily data into pages a normal person can read — what a fund holds, what it has returned, and how much it hurt to hold along the way — without selling anything, ranking anything, or pretending a past return is a promise.
Where our numbers come from
Every NAV and the list of live schemes come straight from AMFI — the Association of Mutual Funds in India, the industry's own daily source. We download it each day, so a scheme launched this week shows up on its own the next. Returns over one, three, five and ten years, since-launch CAGR, volatility, downside volatility, Sharpe, Sortino, maximum drawdown and recovery, rolling one-year returns and a five-year SIP outcome are all computed from that published NAV history. None of it is estimated — it is arithmetic on what the fund actually printed.
What we deliberately do not do
We do not rank funds, crown a "best" fund, or tell you what to buy — InvestVerdict is not a SEBI-registered adviser, and those are the things only a registered adviser may do. Where funds appear in a list, the order is a sort by a past return so the list has a shape; it is not a verdict on which fund suits you. We also leave IDCW returns blank rather than publish a NAV-derived number we know understates them.
How to use the site
Start on the home page to search a fund or browse by category and fund house. Every fund has its own page with the growth of ₹100, drawdowns, rolling returns, market-cap and sector allocation and its disclosed holdings. Use Compare to put up to six funds side by side, Fund Returns to see category returns, the screener to filter, and Research for the deeper holdings tools.
Questions people ask
Is InvestVerdict a SEBI-registered adviser?
No. InvestVerdict is not a SEBI-registered Investment Adviser or Research Analyst. We publish data and analysis on published figures. Nothing here is investment advice or a recommendation, and where funds appear in a list the order is a sort by a past return. Consult a SEBI-registered adviser before investing.
How often is the data updated?
The scheme list and NAVs come from AMFI's daily file and refresh every day. Returns, volatility, Sharpe, Sortino, drawdowns and rolling returns are recomputed from that history. Disclosed portfolios come from the AMCs' AMFI filings and update as new filings arrive.
Do you cover Direct and Regular plans separately?
Yes. They are different products — the Regular plan carries a distributor commission inside its expense ratio — so we compute and show each plan's own NAV and returns rather than reusing one for both.
Why don't you show returns for IDCW options?
An IDCW option's NAV drops by every payout it makes, so a return computed from NAV alone understates it, and AMFI's daily file carries no payout history to add back. Rather than publish a wrong number, we show a dash and point to the Growth option of the same fund.
